Sol-Ark rocks! I have two 15ks on my personal home! The 30k & 60k inverters handle three-phase and 480v loads.
does Sol-Ark make any portable solar power stations?
The 12K is a great selection for building your own power stations (due to the integrated breakers). We also have a 120V 5K-1p with significant surge capability, which is as stripped down as we can possibly make a budget-friendly hybrid inverter.
Any chance you could do the chamber test with an Ecoflow river-2 ?
Can i manually start my generator and charge my battery from 70% just to avoid drop to 20%?
You will get more efficiency out of your generator if you let the SoC drop to 20% and only charge to <95% or less. This is our standard generator charge cycle (with solar doing the slower charge to 100%). However, you can adjust generator auto-start behavior using our time-of-use controller to set the charge start/stop % to be however you'd prefer.

When I go to 10.10.10.1 and search for WI-FI AP list all it does is circle the drain.
Going dual sol ark 15kw as soon as I can afford Takes a while when you're on ssdi and not subsidized. Rich people get to write this off on taxes. The poor pay full price and don't get government help or any tax incentives

Soon upgrading to dual sol ark 15k. Hopethe ags system actually works. Replacing some magnum energy products that ags could never work
Works fine with the generator on either the GEN or GRID port. Wire the gen ports together and the 2 wire autostart from the primary inverter. Generator controls indeed are tricky to get right.
Very helpful video! Need one for the 30 or 60 KW. The mirroring body language between the two guys throughout the video is hilarious (both arms crossed or arms behind back).
Adam, make sure you are in our contractor program as we have organized training resources for our commercial product line in our training portal.
So, if a computer, phone and such are not plugged into a charger at the time of EMP blast, they are good. I would think the same for the charging cords if they are not plugged into a power source at the same time. Sound correct? Now, for the real reason I am here. What about a solar powered watch? Does any of this depend on how close the item is to the actual blast site? This has been a big debate, believe it or not. So far, the answers I have found are conflicting. Thanks.

Can you program these via an api? I would like to be able to program this remotely and not have to push bubble buttons on the front. Drawings help a lot when you are explaining techy-ish things.
No API at this time. We do have integration partners for various edge devices like Solar Assistant for Residential.

I have the EMP 12K fed by 12KW solar array. Have EG4 batteries hooked up for off grid application. It’s been running flawlessly for over 18 months.

How do you adjust the Grid sell box?
enable time-of-use settings in the grid parameters LCD screen menu or use the monitoring portal

@@charleshorseman55 its a challenge to get all settings available locally without requiring internet for programming/commissioning. at some point it becomes easier to review settings within the online monitoring portal. this video is a bit old, we do keep more updated training assets within our training portal at training.sol-ark.com

pretty much the same, but with higher voltage range for the grid, battery, and solar.
I don't care for Chinese made, low surge capacity, high frequency, transformerless inverters. Only a low frequency, transformer based inverter will do for my installation.
Yes, it requires an active, hands-on company to be successful with transformerless inverters. A bit biased, but that is why we would recommend Sol-Ark within this product category - we have the most USA field experience at it, and a robust USA HQ. Always recommend tire kicking the buildings of the companies you buy from.
